Hi Becky. Well, you have been away for a while so maybe some of this loader stuff is hard to follow. I will not recapitulate the whole mess here but you should try to understand that lack of communication from Kioti has contributed to the problem. Not all dealers have cosy relationships with Kioti and at least one has, largely through lack of appropriate guidance from Kioti, managed to effectively destroy a cracked loader while trying to repair it.
Your math skills are impressive /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif but there is no reason to send out 50000 letters or phone calls. It will be the year 2020 before Kioti sells that many CK tractors. In any case, in the internet era, communication is as simple as writing a memo and posting it on a web page or emailing it via a dealer distribution list. If I had such a list of Kioti dealers I could indeed do a better job than Kioti has done in managing this issue. In fact, I will take you up on your offer of employment with Kioti. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Being a self starter, I have composed my first official Kioti memo which I have drafted for release by 5pm today via email and posting on the Kioti dealer website. I’m just waiting for Mr. Joseph Kioti, President of Kioti Tractors USA to approve and release the memo for distribution. It will then go to all 250 dealers with one key stroke and with a lag time of about two seconds. Here is the draft memo:

Dear Kioti Dealer;
Kioti has become aware that a number of KL120 and KL130 loaders have developed cracks in at stress points in the inspection cut out of the loader cross piece (? Mr Kioti should this be referred to as the loader torsion tube?). Kioti is actively investigating design and manufacturing issues relevant to this problem and will issue a more comprehensive service bulletin in the near future. We are currently in discussions with the loader manufacturer to redesign the loader and to prepare a reinforcement plate and detailed repair guidelines for existing loaders. Due to the need for testing and manufacture of repair kits, we anticipate it will be a number of weeks before such a repair program is formally announced. We wanted to give you a short briefing so that you could address any concerns raised by customers. Our engineering department has recommended that customers be reassured they can continue to use their tractor loaders normally until a repair program is ready. Our service department is recommending that you check for cracks behind the inspection plate when tractors are brought in for routine service and to recheck at 50 hour intervals.
We will make every effort to solve this unanticipated problem as expeditiously as possible. The CK line of tractors has been a great success and we certainly will take all measures to insure our customers continue to be satisfied. I will remind you that Kioti knows its success will always depend on two things: putting our customers first and believing in the power of teamwork. We are asking your assistance as critical members of the Kioti team in answering our mutual customer’s queries and concerns. Though the loader cracking problem is an unfortunate development, we feel that Kioti’s open and forthright management of the issue will ultimately be seen as evidence of our commitment to both our customers and our superior product.
We will be in touch soon and you can monitor our progress via the dealer website. Mr Handy Wrench, director of service will post updates on that site as they become available.
Best regards and Happy Tractor Sales,
Joey Kioti
President, Kioti Tractors USA

Now, was that so difficult? Why don't they do it? I'll waive my usual consulting fee and promise not to copyright the letter so Kioti is free to cut and paste. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
