Loyal Kubota guy here, but Kioti specs on paper are pretty compelling. Almost ready to try/buy a Kioti until I briefly tested a CK2610HST today. The vibration was significant--at any RPM. To the point where after just 5 minutes, got off the tractor and my hands and legs were tingling a bit, though that's somewhat due to some issues I have.

1. Anyone here who's tested both a 2610 and 3510 and can comment on vibration differences, if any?

2. I'm presuming the 3510SE has the same exact engine as the 3510--can anyone confirm?

My Kubota M7040 didn't have anything close to this kind of vibration, but that's apples and oranges. Or should I say oranges and oranges. =) But my old tiny Kubota B7100HST was also wayyyy smoother than the CK2610 I drove today.

Liked the design in general. Only operating nit (didn't test loader) was that it was difficult to change ranges, H-M-L. I believe 3510SE has no clutch at all, so that would be interesting.

I suggest you test each machine... Use the loader and run it like it was yours...
We can only go by our own experiences... You have to make sure it works for you.

CK2610 is a 100ci pre tier 4
Ck3510 is a 111ci tier 4.

I have a 2610hst with 68 hours on it. I will say at idle it is a very mechanical motor....lots of noise. Once throttled up to work at about 2000 rpms everything is very smooth. Can't say I ever felt vibrations that bothered me anywhere?

It does vibrate at idle, but once up to operating RPM the 2610 is very smooth. Never drove a 3510 so I cant comment on that.

Did some more digging.

1. 3510 and 3510SE should be the same exact engine. Makes sense.

2. Another dealer acknowledges difficulty when changing ranges. Says partly because it's new.

3. Supposedly the 3510 is considerably smoother and quieter, per this same other dealer, because it's a different engine--common rail, etc. I stupidly didn't try the 3510 yesterday because they were closing up.

The 2610's vibration is a showstopper for me. Still appreciate any thoughts/experience with this issue!

I'm not sure the difficulty with the range changing goes away? I only have 10 hours on mine. I just leave mine in Medium. It almost seems like it's some sort of an alignment issue when changing, because I'll either have no issue going from High to Medium and no way to get in to Low without moving the tractor forward slightly or vice versa.

The only reason I defended the 2610 on vibration is the way you describe it doesn't sound like any 2610 I've tested. Just wondering if it was that specific tractor or if they were all that way?

Honestly I love my 2610, but often wish I would have got the 3510 since the cost was not really much more. However, the 2610 is already too much tractor for my current use so a 3510 would have been even worse lol...

If it's that difficult to shift, and excessive vibration, then perhaps it's a lemon.
My 2610 has over 70 hours on it, but I have never experienced either. Yes, I sometimes have to ride the pedal into a new range, but the gears have to have to mesh, it's not an automatic transmission. Even in a truck, with an auto magic transmission, the transfer case gears have to mesh. It's no different changing ranges in my old JD 850, except I don't use the clutch to ride in the transfer case I the 2610.

The range selector on the HST 2610 does get easier to engage with use. I sometimes throttle down and clutch to change gears.

For what it's worth the owner's manual says to use the clutch when changing range.
