Brian,

You might contact Little Tractor Little Tractor in Metropolis, Illinois. They're a Kioti dealer that would be a "little" closer to you than Carver's. I believe they usually have some kind of package deals that you can select from. I also believe that others have said that they are very responsive to inquiries. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oops. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif You're right. I must have been thinking about the DK series.

Should I add a toothbar. Do they add a lot of digging cabability too the loader??

Adding a toothbar would be like the difference between night and day. They add a lot of digging capability to the loader. If you have to move some hardpacked material or dig in it, it makes things much quicker.

Oh yeah, one more note. They stick out farther - about 6 or 7 inches (length may vary depending on toothbar). Remember that when trying to maneuver up close to things so you don't hit them.

Is the toothbar removable or are they welded on? Also, thanks to all who have recommended some dealerships to try. I have called them and am now very happy with my price as it is actually lower (and this was the first price he gave, no haggling) and local. So it seems that other than the toothbar, there is nothing else I am missing and the size seems about right for my property/jobs?

Brian, toothbars are usually held on by one bolt on each side and are easily removable. I just posted this picture in an early unrelated thread today of the one I had. It think you can see the bolts I'm talking about.

Thanks Bird, and all. As you can all tell, I am quite un-educated when it comes to most of this as this will be my first real tractor. Have definately learned alot on these boards though.

I'm sure you know we've all been there, too. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Draft control is a option for the Ck25/30.
