Thanks. I messed up though. I should have turned the switch 90 degrees so that I would have enough room for another switch. I'm going to put one on the rear work light too. I called Jeff Brown (BTI) and I think I'm going to order a new plastic cover. They aren't too expensive.

I did make a moutning bar for my lights (three 95 lb magnets!) and I painted it AC Orange. It's surprising how similar Kioti Orange and the AC variant are. Matches real good. To run the loom w/ wires down the ROPS bar I hot glued magnets to 8 nylon p-clips that will hold/route the wires down out of harms way.

I'll get some more pics up when it's done.

I am a little concerned with mounting the lights on magnets that over very rough ground they will shake loose and hit you in the mellon. Also be careful in and around trees if you knock them off, you don't run them through the rotary cutter. I suppose it is wash if you knock them off or whack them around a bit. :D

That is why I went with 3 magnets that have a combine pull force of 285 lbs AND I tied them together with a piece of flat stock. They aren't coming off easy I know that. :D

wow what a great project, i am hoping that i will be bale to mount some lights real soon, just wondering where did you get the bullet connectors, i would prefer to leave everything as factory as possible, so when a mechanically challenged individual like myself :D attempts this and fails it is just as easy as unplugging the lights.

i just tried installing a light through the 7.5 amp fuse, and it blew twice, it is a 55 w light
what went wrong???
watts divvied by volts = amps (55/12=4.5)

Is there anyting else on that circuit?

What slot in the fuse block is the fuse located? Did you build your own harness? What type of connectors did you use?

Sorry I didn't see this question buried in your reply. I got them from Advance Auto I think. I'm pretty sure I seen them at TSC also.

I have a set of worklights I'm going to install on my CK30 and I'm looking for a place to tap into the wiring.

Has anyone located where the 15A "customer use" circuit is accessible?
This is the last fuse in the box, but the factory wiring diagram does not
show where it goes.

This seems to be the best choice to connect up some AUX lights. I already
use the reverse connector for my b/h thumb control, and there is a very
convenient low current hot source near the instrument cluster to power
the relays I will use. I plan to use the right/left turn signal switches to
control the 2 55W lights.

Old thread, but still relevant!

There is a work-light tail near the center of the harness under the rear fender behind the seat. It is hot with the headlights on. We have used that tails for auxiliary lights.

There should also be a tail with a plug laying on top of the transmission under the seat. It is for the 7-pin socket. There are lots of goodies to pick from in that plug.

........Sorry, went back and looked at the rest of the thread. They say memory is the second thing to go.....
