I think when he put the at symbol (@) into the little expression the board looked at it as an e-mail address. Let's try an example: jkhh@#%#KJG

See, the @ symbol turned that expression above into an e-mail. Now, if you were to actually put a real e-mail in, it would be a nice little shortcut with no HTML needed. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

A little off topic, but the TBN software should be smart enough to see that xyz@$%jk#ab and 3@$12 are not valid email addresses. There is a spec out there that states what is allowable in an email address. For example:

the minimum email address is a@b.cd
only one "@" is allowed
"@" must followed by at least one character then at least one "."
at least two characters must follow the last "."
no pairs of dots ".."
these characters are illegal "[#!*$%^&()[=+{}|\;:'/?>,<]

Yes, and no need to click on the Email link under Instant Markup. I usually just do the HTML, not having tried to just put it in! John

Todd, JayC explained it perfectly. You wrote: wife@---- that made it an email addy like kiotijohn@tbn. This will then be clickable and an e-mail form will pop up as in your post. No big deal, we all learned something. John

John, how well does your CK20 brush hog? I have some pretty thick stuff, undergrowth, shrubs, choke cherry etc... And I am just wondering how big do I really need to go?

I couldn't be more satisfied with the way it brush hogs. Yesterday's cutting was done in a grown up field that I had cut before. Most of the material was tough grasses and small saplings. The four foot cutter I use never bogged the tractor down at all. I could easily use the 5 foot, but I have a lot of trees around my own property and prefer the smaller size. I have been thinking, however, of getting a 5' also for other jobs. The CK20 could handle it with no problem. Also, I've cut saplings as large as 2-3 inches by carefully and slowly backing into them, allowing a little cut at the time and then backing some more. You must go slowly! Does this answer your question okay? John

thanks for the reply, after taking a look at your photos I had no idea that little machine could do the work. Curious on why you didn't go with the ck25? In your opinion is there any advantage in the extra hp for the money?

Yes, that included FEL and RFM
