ok folks..be patient with me...i am helping a farmer who has a Claas Rollant 46 i have never used one before. It is not new. my bales are coming out too soft and irregular pattern. There is a pressure guage on the machine that i watch and when the needle is in the red...i wrap and discharge....lousy bale. The automatic part of this is not working so im it. I have zig zagged to try and get uniform feeding...the problem seems to be how to know how much hay is rolled and when to stop???? Don't want to jam machine but need much tighter bales.. any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
