I used to clean my fuel filter with kerosene, but I realized I don't have anymore. Upon further thinking, I can't remember where to get more. I may be having a serious brain fart, but I can't think of a local gas station that sells it. What does everyone else use? Is there something I can get at Tractor Supply?

Thanks,

Joe

Joe, I don't know for sure, but since Tractor Supply Co. sells kerosene heaters, I would think they'd have kerosene.

I just use clean fresh #2 diesel when I clean mine.

Ahh! I forgot about Kerosene heaters. Not too popular in FL... Hopefully it is not a regional or seasonal item.

Thanks,

Joe

Kerosene is just a slightly smaller hydrocarbon chain than diesel, like a very light diesel. Like beagdog says, just use fresh diesel.

I've been using Coleman lantern fuel (white gas) for a while now. This may bite me later on, but so far I've not had any problems.

Not sure where in CF you are at but there was a station in Lake Wales that had it
