Well... not as intresting a story as you may think! But, a rodent of some sort seemed to like the covering on spokes of the steering wheel. Yup they chewed down to the metal. Even sampled the handles on the fenders. However they did not chew on the wheel as in must have tasted too much like a sweaty human...
It's not a big deal as the wheel still works just fine... it's just not in pristine condition as I like to keep the the tractor.
Thought you may have one laying around in a old-stock bin!
