Here in CA we go to town and find a street corner where illegals wait for someone to drive by and hire them for day work. There is usually a group of 20-30 out at dawn in one particular area. By 9 AM most are working somewhere. Same scene the next morning. All you need to do is find out where this is in your town.

Here they charge $10 - $12 / hour each, but the rate is negotiable. Cash only. Speaking Spanish helps.

The day laborers are used for gathering rocks, cleaning fields (like yours), stacking brush after tree clearing, and even a few slightly skilled tasks like mowing, rototilling, trenching, planting trees, and anywhere another hand is needed.

I recently seeded a field that was full of sticks roots and hay net and strings. I raked it first to 2 central piles. Then I drug it with a chain drag. I brought each pass back to the piles and shook the drag out to clean it. I got off the tractor and removed the net and strings by hand. I did this several times until I was satisfied with the way it looked. Then it was one pass down and back with help driving the Mule and me picking up the remaining trash and rocks. I bought the drag 5 years ago and never used it much until now. I pull it backwards hooked to the fel and raise it up to transport it and dump it when it's full. I'm getting ready to build a frame for it to hook to the tph. It doesn't pickup dirt like the rake. It is also great upside down for manure piles in grass.

You definitely need a rootachunker find a some kids that will work (sometimes hard to do) get more than one pay a decent wage and tell them bonus is available if completed on time you ride tractor with bucket or trailer this is a one time expense and helps kids learn work ethics. You Don't have equipment you won't use again.

Oh, I see now. It comes in red! (post #1). Not so good looking.
