Clevis for B2920?

[Watercarving]

I have a B2920 and there is a small piece of metal sticking out the back that has a vertical hole in it. I figure this is where the Clevis goes. The bar is 1.25" thick. I can't find a Clevis with a gap this wide. How do I find the exact one I need?

I would like to order from someone who also sells a grab link since this is how I've decided to setup for dragging.

Tractor Supply Company or any farm supply store would sell one.

You might try these people or most any rigging company for a good selection. Search shackles or clevis. A twisted shackle / clevis works for some applications and most that sell rigging equipment have them.

I got this one from McMaster Carr. They have a wide variety of clevis's and hooks. The 'bar' you are talking about is called a draw bar. BE CAREFUL! Philip.

Tractor supply did not have any large enough locally. I just want to make sure it will fit over the bar.

I suppose if you measure carefully you could order one, but for that type of thing I usually buy locally. One thing you can do is take the drawbar out and take it in to the store with you. that way you can throw it on the countermans counter ( not glass please!)and say, hey buddy how about fixing me up with a cleavis that fits this? of course I dont know where you live, and tractor supply/ag supply stores may be as scarce as hens teeth in your neck of the woods. But around here, I can think of several places to get one. Another choice in a large city, might be industrial rigging suppliers.

Went back to tractor supply. They had them Ina totally different section than the chains and smaller clevises. The kid helping me had no idea. I just stumbled upon them assuming they were there.

Be careful that if the clevis you bought is big enough to get under the turnbuckles that attach to the 3 pt hitch arms it will bend them when you lower the 3 pt hitch with an implement on it. I bent two before I figured out what had caused it. The clevis was sideways and under the turnbuckle. I have since bought a smaller one and think it is probably best just to take it off when you aren't using it.
