Clicking noise from front right wheel in 4WD GC1710

I have a 2014 MF 1710 TLB. 450 hours. Recently I noticed a clicking or tapping sound which seems to be coming from the front right wheel hub when the 4wd is engaged. I am thinking some sort of bearing issue maybe?

Also looking for source for a service manual. I checked the website and there are multiple choices but limited description of the difference between the selections. The prices range from $20 to $160. I tried call customer service but there was no answer but a request to leave a contact number.

This link will give you idea on what is inside steering assembly in axle.... Scroll down to bottom of page..... Yes its for a GC2310, but its almost identical to what a GC1710 front axle is.... I used it for reference when I did the steering seal repair on my GC1715....

Isolate the sound. Lift up the front end with the loader, spin the tire by hand, check for clicking. Lift up back end, block it so it doesn't drop, check 4WD. Clicking coming from steering hub or U joint on front drive axle? The U joint is also on the right side of the axle. You might have to remove a front tire for better access without having to go under it.

this is front axle part of service manual for a gc2400, many things the same throughout all models so may help.

You can purchase the genine factory manual at www.agcopubs.com.
If you do go to the website and purchase mauals for service manual purchase the packet not the assembly. The only difference is the assembly includes a binder for$$$$.

Thanks. I saw those but there was no real explanation on the website so I was unsure of the difference between the items.

So i found a local traveling mechanic who is a real fountain of knowledge. Came to look at it, had the front axle off and disassembled in about an hour. Ring gear is chewed up and virtually no teeth on the pinion gear. He thinks the parts were not properly hardened. Only 460 hours on it and not abused.
