Thanks for the replies on tires...I have decided to stay with turfs, loaded, and my main reason is this winter has been an "ice follies" here...
Having had turfs on my last BX, and never having an issue with traction in any condition except maybe mud, which I don't foresee happening to any great degree
on my acreage...I may invest in some "2 link" spaced chains to deal with any future ice follies! :D

Probably a good decision, as the R4 Industrial tires do not work well with the basic (an less expensive) ladder chains - the links just fall in between the treads. (See the first photo below.) I have R4's and I had to upgrade to v-bar chains (2nd photo - much more expensive), which (a) have KILLER traction even on sheer ice, but (b) are very rough on pavement and need wheel spacers on the rear wheels to get enough clearance. However, ladder chains will work just fine with turf tires. So you are all set! IMG_1530.jpgIMG_1583.jpg

Thanks!
I've been out moving snow with an icy base and there have been zero issues with traction so far. I believe the loaded tires are a great feature.
We just last night, got dumped on with a foot of heavy white crap...I will have plenty of seat time today! I got up and plowed with my 4 wheeler to get my fiance out the driveway and the snow was just balling up in front of the plow. Got a passage way cleared and off she went. Now for the big cleanup!

Dollies and Hooks arrived from BXpanded yesterday. Stopped by the dealer this morning to see how they were making out. Said they just received the deck yesterday, Thought everything else was done except maybe the block heater. They are aiming for this Saturday. Have to admit I'm getting a little anxious, but the weather's been so bad it's hard to get excited about doing anything outside.
