Finally able to send some pics. I made a food plot in the middle of my woods, just a natural opening on a south facing hill. I have been brushing-hogging for 3 years to change from weeds to grass. Used a subsoiler/middle buster combo to break ground, disc it and lime/ fertilizer, Used bags of hydrated lime ( powder ) wore a full body throwaway painter suit, respirator and a spade shovel to toss it around, chain link fence for a drag. Waited three weeks and sprayed Round-up to kill new growth. Used one red and two whites of clover. . Planted in late Sept..growing pretty good with no weeds so far..I'll send some new Spring/Summer pics when everything is going strong.

Looking good! I also have 2 timber plots. Lucky that I have no rocks though!
