Clutch adjustment

   / Clutch adjustment #11
Thanks robin. can you tell me how to get to the locking nut on the adjustment bolt? I can see the bolt head that needs to be screwed in, but i need to get to the locking nut the manual describes and there is no access to the locking nut.

I’m not familiar with your specific model, but is there an opening on the underside of the tractor? Sometimes there’s an opening in the bell housing for water/debris drainage or servicing…

ok. I'll check for an additional or larger inspection plate.

another contributor to my question advised there was no way to adjust the clutch without splitting the tractor. He advised you could only adjust the PTO clutch through the inspection plates.
