Traction Clutch problem

Hello everyone, my new to me kubota l 2850 is giving me a little bit of grief. The clutch is slipping, so I removed the FEL to get to the inspection port, There seems to be three arms, held there by six pins, attached to this clutch, but one arm is missing a pin at the front of it, the cotter key apparently fell off ... this arm is there but bent downwards. Anyone gives me a heads up on the most likely procedure to fix this. (Do I have to break this tractor in two?). Thanks. Roger.

Does it look like this picture?

If the bent arm is jammed in there it could be holding the clutch partially disengaged.

If you had a new arm and pin do you have room to put it in? May need to "over-adjust " the pedal linkage by temporarily shimming the other two arms so they push further in, reducing the force on the third one so you can work. Don't know if this will succeed but its worth a try.

If you get the arm and pin in, and adjust the three arms back so they don't quite contact the release bearing with pedal up, maybe the clutch will engage and stop slipping.

Unfortunately the usual cause of slipping is a worn out clutch disk - which could still be the real problem, and the bent arm is a red herring and not the real cause of the slippage. Ordinarily one arm not working would make it hard to disengage, not hard to engage.

On the good side if you've already taken off the loader, splitting the tractor isn't that much more work.

It is kindda hard to say, or I should say see, But it does look like the arms on the attached picture. I will have to wait for my service manuel from Kubota, which I ordered today. Splitting it will be a good training for me, being diesel mechanic, but with NO experience around farming equipment. I will keep your suggestions in mind, and thanks for the reply. Roger.
