Coffee is not essential for life

When I was working I would drink a 16oz. RockStar and regular Coke every day. It caused all kinds of problems with sleep. Since I retired.....no more caffeine.

I’ve probably only had a few cups of coffee in my life. I just can’t get over the taste. I never got used to it. Just like beer, couldn’t handle the taste. So I’m not a beer drinker either. I will have a soda pop though.

Don't drink it much any more, but when I was younger I'd enjoy beer. Was kind of selective though, always thought Budweiser was nasty, Heineken too. Had some Dixie beer once when I was visiting someone in the south and couldn't even finish it...it was horrible. Guiness and Molson were good, Miller was OK too.
Was never able to drink any sort of hard liquor. Wine...maybe an occasional glass with the wife, but that's about it. I guess I'm not in any danger of becoming alcoholic. :laughing:

I try to limit soda intake, but it sure does taste good on a hot day. Mountain Dew & Moxie are my favorites, well that and ginger beer.

The neighbor lady said she only has 1 glass of wine a day. Then I saw her glass......it reminded me of a small birdbath.

Black coffee is something I look forward to every day. For the last 20 years, I've never had a single morning without it. It doesn't matter where I'm at or where I'm going, I always seek out that wonderful beverage!
