Cold starting a to 35 w/ Standard diesel

The FE35 got the Perkins in late 1959, my Dad's was an early 1959 model with the Standard 23c.

could well be. never heard that model. but the TO35 (predessor to M135) had either Std 4 cyl diesel or Continental gasser. either way, i had the pleasure of knowing that old warrior for decades. again, the M135 had the 3cyl Perkins regards
