Hi guys. I have 375 hrs on my 2008 FOTON TE254. I like the features on the tractor for its size and price. Flat cab floor. Skid steer bucket quick release. 4wd and Dual hyd outputs on rear. Shuttle shift and auto leveling bucket and class 1 tph And of course cab heat and the sat radio is good to listen to Kenny Chesney singin " she thinks my tractors sexy" while plowing and blowing snow . Good so far. Havin alot of fun for a reasonable price. I'd buy a FOTON again .

I have a 2008 jinma 284. I have a rad hose heater on the upper part of the lower hose, the heater is on a timer set for 1 hour before I want to start it. Then all it takes is 20 seconds with the glow plugs and it fires right up:thumbsup:.

I bought a remote on and off switch for my Rad Hose Heater. It has a key fob much like what you use to lock/unlock your car doors. Cost about $15 and is rated for outdoor use but my tractor is keep in the barn. I hooked up a small light also so I can see it come on from the warmth of my house. The light sits in the barn window.

This is what I have.

lowest Temperature i have had this winter was -21° C a few days ago.
I have an 2000W Tank-Type Heater installed with build-in circulation Pump and thermostat
it takes 20 to 25 minutes to heat up the Coolant to 65-70°C.
The Tractor starts without preheating at the first rev.

My Barn is 400m away, i have an GSM Alarm System installed with two channels i can switch an optional relay an power additional Devices.
20min before i go out to the Barn i give them a call and the Heater starts.

Warm air intake for those -30 days. In taking air from around exhaust manifold and muffler. Engine warms up faster and combusts better on extreme cold days

The easiest way to figure hose diameter is not to measure the hose. Measure the sleeve/connector it is connected to. Presto, that's your hose ID. Caliper is the best tool.
