Dealer attitude is something else. Some of them still think it's 1957 and they can do whatever they want.
A female friend of ours went to a Mercedes dealership to buy a car. She was a clerk for the Government, and looked the part. No one even came over to talk to her. She left and went to a Volvo dealer and bought a new one for CASH. She had just hit 1.7 million in the lottery.
When I was looking for my tractor, I went to the dealerships. looked a the tractors, got as many brochures as possible, lived on this forum, then went back to the dealers. Some of them treated me like I was a 14 year old kid looking at the new Corvettes. At others, I knew more than the salesmen. I didn't care about color, but wanted Blue, Orange or Green, simply those are the only neaby dealers. The dealers could make a lot more sales if they treated people like people.
I finally ended up with a really clean used green one from a private party.
