COMPARISON: Oranges and Oranges

The only thing that I believe Kioti could do better on their site is more pictures! Some made good wallpaper! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I do agree, CNH has a site that leaves a LOT to be desired. Downright terrible, actually. Kioti's site gives a lot of useful information and is very easy to navigate.

I agree with Bob. That Kioti website is one of the better ones I looked at, and I looked at all of them at one point. Fortunately, I found a good dealer with plenty of info on my machine. I wasn't as impressed with the local Kioti dealer as I was with the info I was able to get online - he did a lot of badmouthing of other brands, and was only a one man operation and twice wasn't open when he told me he would be.

KiotiJohn,

When is Kioti gonna start paying you? Do they know how much of a sales rep you are for them? If I were you, I'd get to asking for some kickbacks, free implements, etc. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

As sites go, it's not the worst by far, but there is room for improvement. A few things that get left off, empty boxes that have a heading and no info., etc.
The New Holland site is miserable. I was trying again yesterday to find some info for someone, and had to go all over the place and finally found partial information that wasn't much help. I'm amazed at how bad that site is. It's a real shame too since it's such a good brand of tractor, but the public can't get the scoop on it on their site.
Bandit, if they hired me, it might spoil my enthusiasm! They have sent me some goodies. John

"They have sent me some goodies."

KiotiJohn,

It seems like you have crossed over from amateur status to professional pitchman when you start accepting "goodies" from Kioti for your pro-Kioti comments in the TBN forum. The rest of us are amateurs offering opinions without reward from a tractor OEM. Sure we have our favorites, but basically we offer opinions because we own the brand and have some experience with it. An OEM rewarding someone for positive posts for their brand clearly becomes advertising and should have no place in this "owner" forum.

KiotiJohn, I read many great posts by you. Maybe you need to tone down the Kioti favoritism so you can get back your amateur status.

They sent me some goodies for posting the first review of the CK20HST on their testimonials site not for anything I've said on here. Sorry if I mislead anyone. They gave me a hat, shirt, some pens and a shop clock. There were a few others who also received Kioti gear for being the first to post on their tractor model.
Of course, all the dealers who post on here are not considered amateurs so I doubt that should be a problem.
If you've read so many of my posts you know that I have many times recommended other tractors as well.
Your point was well-taken, but I don't think there's a problem. The favoritism toward Kioti only comes from getting a great tractor at a great price. I'd be favoring another brand if they had what the Kioti has for a great price. Thanks, John
