New to the forum have done lots of looking but havent quite found what I wanted and maybe looking for some validation on my thought process. Looking for a compact tractor. I own a 4acres of mainly flat grass. I plan on keeping the zero turn for mowing as I think its still more efficient, and financially to get a few grand out of it to spend another couple grand to do the same job doesnt makes sense. With that said I plan on snow blowing, land scaping, and just general utility work where a bucket may come in handy. Future projects that I forsee is small garden, post holes, and minor brush hogging.

With that in mind a small 19-22 hp model probably does work for my needs now, but I dont think leaves much room for growth and then when you factor in cost of getting a 25/26ish Hp tractor just makes sense to go bigger.

Now for the quotes all of my quotes is without tax and included cab, front blower, HST, loader and R4 tires

Kubota 2650- 32k dealer 5 mins away. The 2650 has a factory cab and AC,

Kioti 2510- 26k, factory cab added at dealer but no AC dealer 5 mins away

JD 2025- 28.5k Factory cab no AC, dealer 20 mins away

TYM T254 cab with no AC, dealer 10mins small out of garage type but from guys I know is very good, if not brick and mortar dealer 1.5 hours away

Mehindra- Got a quote but TBH they are a TYM but charge orange and green prices, so I am not considering those,

Considering I am not mowing I dont see paying the Kubota price for AC on a 26hp tractor as good as it may be. TYM is obviously the lowest price spec wise they seem to match anything else, Just felt cab quality was not as nice, but for a 6-12k savings and for what I am using it seems a strong possibility.

Now here is where the water get muddy. Kind of like the idea of factory cab, nicer lines and its built for it. Also considering cost of these, it almost is a no brainer. Same additions as above in terms of options

TYM 474- 30k- Factory cab ac and heat

TYM 394- Need quote but probably around 28k factory cab and heat

LS-XR3135- 29k dealer is 1.5hours away- factory cab ac and heat

Kiotio 3510- 32k ac and heat

Now i know as you add cabs and implements it can really skew comparisons, if I went no cab, it would probably change my thought process up. My question is there a better way to get a front snow blower, obviously have to order the tractor with a PTO, but is there cheaper blowers and what would I have to look for in a used one.

My thought process is as follow If I want the cheapest tractor that probably fits my needs and some future needs the TYM 254 is the way to go. Looking more for brand and support either the kioti or the JD.Kioti is a factory cab the JD is not. The big but here is if I were to buy the JD or the Kioti in the 26hp family, why not get the TYM 474 or 394 or consider the LS.

the 35hp JD and Kubotas are just ridiculous priced, mid to upper 30s so not even a consideration.

Sine you have no location shown in your profile, it will be somewhat difficult to offer specific suggestions.

32k + tax seems high for a cab 3510 Kioti. I was quoted $35,600 for a new NX5510HC with r4s loaded, 2nd rear remote and rear wiper added. Ended up with one just like it with 3rd function up front w/ 65hours for MUCH less.

I forgot to add loader. So that was a 3510 with loader, front blower, R4s and cab. Blower alone was 7k.

No, the big diff was the blower. What I quoted was with loader kl6010, no blower. 7k wow. was that front hydraulic or rear pto??

I think you were too quick to knok Mahindra out of the mix. The tractors may be built by TYM but once you get above 25hp you have emissions systems and Mahindra doesn't have a DPF so no regens. Mahindra also has a bigger dealer network than TYM and even Kioti so getting service and parts should be easier as well.

Have you considered looking for a used (pre emissions) Kubota?
They are seemingly quite expensive relative to new, but Kubotas are bullet proof machines, with high value retention, and dealers everywhere.
If you need financing though, this would not be an option, and the search for just the right used Kubota could take up to a year.

In a new tractor I would definitely agree that the TYM is likely the best bang for the buck.
That said: I would never buy a new tractor....WAY too much depreciation!

Mid PTO. Now JD and Kubota actually had reasonable front blower prices in 3800-4. Everybody else was 5-7

Mahindra is a good machine, but so is a TYM obviously. My only thought on the Mahindra, was right at the JD 2025 price, for same price I would probably get better service at the JD dealer. Also DPF, SCRs half dozen one half the other, really, still a filter that does some form of regen, so Im not sure Mahindra can get away with saying the machine never does anything to regen or what other term that might be used.
