You may be able to save tax money if you live near a state line or are willing to drive to a state line. It depends upon the states and the dealer's willingness to do it but you can avoid state sales tax sometimes if you live in one state but buy from a dealer in another state. The dealer in the other state may have to deliver the tractor to you across the state line however. If he delivers it at his dealership he has to charge you his state's sales tax.
