I have two that I carry a lot. One is an SP101 DAO .357 and the other is an H&K P2000SK in 9mm. Both are high quality and reliable.
The SP101 is a heavy little chunk, but easier to deal with in some ways, and very durable. There is nothing more reliable than an SP101. The H&K has more rounds and would be my choice for a serious gunfight. But when I'm working at night, my PM9 is the one I want in my pocket. Never in the way and more power than my LCP. The LCP is reserved for maximum concealment where the lower power is acceptable, if that makes sense.
When I go out and walk at night, the SP or the H&K go with me.
