Come drive my Polaris Brutus (24hp Yanmar diesel with HST) and you'll feel a LOT better about your Bobcat!No cab no loaded tires. ‘Barely move’ might be a little extreme but it has a hard time getting going.
As s219 noted, high gear is really only for easy and "fast" (in tractor lingo this is slightly faster than a sailboat, which is only slightly faster than a kid's tricycle!) travel on the flats. It's like running on the highway vs. hill climbing. You shouldn't attempt to hill climb in a high gear, and, you shouldn't look to operate on the highway in low gear. Gears are "choices:" choose wisely Grasshopper!
