concrete for grinding / polishing

Ok, almost done grinding. Considering sealers now but still on the fence. Its just a garage floor. And dont want something that is gonna burn, peel, and flake when doing hot work. If I do a sealer or densfier, or watever, it needs to be clear, and oil/gas resistant. A lot of the sealers I see arent good for oil and gas.

Got 1600 sq ft to do, any recommendations on a clear product that is oil and gas resistant that wont break the bank.

I'm hoping to see some picks soon! As for sealer some water repellant I picked up at menards seems pretty good called "water block" & is clear & seems to seal pretty good designed for patio blocks but worked well on outside surface crack I had last year & going to coat entire outside of my concrete this summer already bought some fillers for the cut lines and crack.

I tried some of the Rustolium stain which failed miserably as did the clear top coat same brand. brake cleaner picks it up instantly as does gas or break fluid after a few.

Here is a bunch of pics. The first ones are dry just after sweeping. Then I powerwashed it, and those are the remainder.



Now the densifier, I assume lithium is what I want. Any recommendations on where to buy aside from online? If I am gonna do this, it needs to happen now as I am getting lumber delivered friday and will be set on the slab. So its now or never and dont really have time to wait on some to show up in the mail.

Not the lithium stuff, but MSDS says sodium silicate. Pretty cheap too

the Water Block in same brand is good stuff, fir sealing outdoor concrete or patio blocks etc. I sealed a crack this past fall & stopped surface penetration of water big time. The dark us where water has penetrated and the white is practically dry (water runs off faster and does not get into top surface to freeze/pop micro stops.)

That gst stuff is available at Menards and pretty cheap now as they are discontinuing it. Just don't know weather to get the water blocker, or the densifier/hardener I linked to, or something else?? I want whatever will give the most durable finish to resist against gas, oils, and doing hot work.

I have called about everywhere now, and it seems I cannot get lithium densifier and have time to apply before my lumber arrives friday. So thinking of just getting the GST sodium silicate concure stuff from menards for ~$50. Thoughts? How much better is the lithium?

If I cannot get anything on it by friday delivery, it is probably not gonna get anything. Lumber will be there, will be driving over it with equipment and the BH (which leaks a bit of about every fluid it has), and it will get all stained up. Not that its an issue, Its just a garage floor that I expect to be stained up in short order anyway.

Spent the last few days speaking with many experts and vendors. Decided on a product by vseal. Its their 101 stuff. Gonna apply it tomorrow whenever the concrete dries out from the rain we will likely get tonight
