concrete for grinding / polishing

Finally getting my floor poured in a couple weeks, just curios how the grinding and sealing turned out. I'd really like to have my floor slick as I can get it.

It turned out okay. But I didn't want slick or sealed. Just smooth enough to make it easy to sweep. Rent a bigger grinder han I did if you are gonna go slick. Several steps to get there.

Ok thanks, I'll do some looking into it then and see what I can find, maybe even check to see about finding someone that does grinding and polishing. Still not sure on sealing mine yet or what I'll use if I do.

I used densifier. Do some research on that.

I also inquired about having it done, it was ~$2 per square foot to grind, polish, and seal, Thats a 3000grit finish and slick when wet. We had it done in our breakroom at work.

I ground with a 36 grit diamond, but that still leaves a rough finish. Too rough to sweep easily. But the 80grit IIRC diamond made it much better. Bout like a hand troweled finish
