If I remember right, Ted Bundy's victims were all attractive college girls. Albert DeSalvo seemed to just pick women at random, different ages, race, occupation. David Berkowitz hated all women, and selected victims on the most random of chance.
I think I heard that two women have been found dead in the area. Both have simularities to Levy, Dark hair, young, and so on. You are right about it being drawn out. Also, as these type of killers go about it they tend to improve their "skills".
Your "woman scourned" theory is interesting. If this is true she is sure putting her parents thru hell. Unless of course they are in on it. In that case I would have to say her mother is a pretty good actress. But then, Susan Smith put on a pretty good act herself.

I'm with you T-Toes. Until there is a body, there ain't no body (or is that nobody?). I think she's likely layed up somewhere enjoying her notariety growing and calculating what she will make on the book deal to support her love-child. Gosh, I hope that is the case. Her parents? She didn't have the best relationship with them and I think she just doesn't care. I know lots of kids who would sacrifice their parents for the sake of becoming very famous.

On the other side, if she did herself in or someone else did, it is all very sad. The congressman? I think his weiner is already roasted. I don't care to hear every story about where its been. The real story is that possibly something bad has happened to a young girl, no matter how misguided she may have been. I hope they find her soon, live and well. If she makes a bundle off a movie/book deal, so be it.

Watched a couple of the Sunday morning politico shows. What ever led this man to beleave that he could turn the spotlight off by taking his own private polygraph? It almost seems that he is trying to make himself look guilty. One of three things.
1. He is as guilty as sin.
2. He wants to destroy his own career.
3. He has total idiots giving him advice.

One thing's for sure, he's not too bright. If he wanted "to avoid scandal to a rising political career", he shouldn't have been messing around on his wife! Is an uncontrollable sex drive a requirement for becoming a politician? Don't these people (presidents, congressmen, senators, etc) realize they're in the spotlight?

shucks, i know a lot of kids that would sacrifice their parents for their husband/boyfriend/wife/girlfriend/$$$. I sure hope she shows up in great shape, but i do fear the worse. my wife wants to know what these politicians eat for breakfast?? can someone explain that to me???

This thread reflects much of what the country is saying. Condit is a small-time sleazebag. He thinks he's a big deal, but he's a nobody!! He is compared to Clinton. Sorry, he couldn't make a pimple on Billies butt. This guy has been laying low in Congress. He is a do-nothing Representative. He's in it for himself and nobody else. You read his letter to his constituents and just want to go and hug a toilet. Just an AWEFUL individual.

There are a lot of unanswered questions and I do not think that Condit is the answer. Unless some substantial evidence leads to him. When that happens, he'll fold like a two-dollar suitcase.

I just hope that the Chandra laying-low theory pans out. It certainly would be amusing for the public to see the outcome.
