Confounded Backup Beepers

I have neighbors on both sides of me that have contracted excavator work. Apparently nobody knows you can unplug those confounded backup beepers. One of them has never heard of a grease gun. His bucket and boom rattles super loud every time he moves it. The excavator on the other side has something squeaking in one of the tracks so every time he moves it has this loud squealing noise on top of the beeping. His has the loudest backup beeper I've ever heard too. One of the first mods I did to my backhoe for both mine and the neighbors benefit was to unplug the backup beeper.

Good thing I put new speakers in my backhoe so I can drown them out.

Agree...but in long run could save person/pet life,might be insurance must.

Noisy bucket grease would help maybe new pins also.

Yes but isn't it ironic that the EPA requires hearing protection.

I tried unplugging the beeper on my JD skid steer. I got an error code on the console display.

Mine used to be too loud but I think my hearing has gone downhill and it's not so bad any more.

If someone disconnected a backup alarm and someone was killed or injured, I would not b e surprised to see criminal charges filed. And visibility in most skid steers is terrible to the rear and rear corners.

As for tracks making noise, I don't think there is anything to be done about that, there are no grease points.
