Confused About HST Fan Protection

Yes as BP says, you have to ask for it. They don't seem to give them out unless you ask for them. Then all of your questions about the year will be answered.

All of you are correct. And yes, I will and have enjoyed this little machine. Thanks for all the input and help. I will keep you all posted and see were things lead.

I just spoke with the local Kubota dealer, Walldroff Equipment, Watertown NY. I inquired about K2681-21212. The parts manager phoned Kubota and then he got right back to me. These are back-ordered nationally, so he was told. A new shipment is *estimated* to arrive in a US distribution warehouse on 13 November. They will then be sent out to fulfill orders through dealers.

The parts manager emphasized that 13 November is an *estimated* date. It could be sooner or later. If that date holds true, he wouldn't see one until maybe 20 November.

I ordered one. I'll post when it lands.

I think I'll hold out until there are no back orders. I am sure by then the smaller protection guard should be gone by then and all issues taken care of.;)

My dealer called today. My new style fan guard was in. I ran down and got it and they took my new-in-the box old style guard back for a return. They were great about it.

I checked out 2 new BX25's on his lot and they had the new guard.

I went to my dealer with pictures from this thread of both the old and the newer Kubota Guards. We were only able to find a part call out for the older -smaller guard and not the larger new guard. When somebody can get a part number, please post it.

Just a bump. I would be interested in getting the New Kubota guard that the OP posted. This is quite compact and modifiable. Good ventilation. Easy shaft hook-up. Could be easily modified in the front for additional protection.
Is anybody else interested? Any luck getting a part number? Let me know and I will get the guard and modify than provide pix.

OK Part came in today at $39 with Michigan's cut included. Took 10 minutes to install, including rounding up the hardware from the garage stash. Didn't come with hardware. I now have four standard hardware bolts nuts and washers on my tractor. Fits up well and gives a much improved coverage. Picture of before and after below. At this time I don't intend to be making any additional modifications. Timing was just right as the mower deck is now off for the season and its time to hit the woods getting some firewood.

I have a 07 BX2350. It looks like I have the floor support brace using the bolt holes that are to be used with Part# k2681-21212 (filter side). Has anyone dealt with this yet. Thanks. Tom

nice pics flatlander, does it interfere with the removal of the filter?it looks like its protecting the filter more than the fan
