Confusion or denial?

I have owned two new tractors and i had a few issues no major problems. But if i did i would not rant and rave to the dealer . I found out a long time ago thats there job and if you deal with them with some since of respect you should get what you need done . There is always the exeption to the rule and i would deal with that in time .They always have to put fires out and they will respect you more if you give them time to work on your problems. If a company made a product that has no problems no issues then there would be no need for a waranty or a service dept. After all of the years of working with equipment they are going to break at some point and time and they all have there issues. I get a since of pride after fixing a broke machine and it works as it should .

Bought a Ford 1300 new in 1983. About 6 months, a front axle broke (it's 4x4), and it was repaired under warranty. This tractor lasted for 20 yrs, with just normal maintenance, (oil & filter changes), replaced battery every so often. Engine was rebuilt about 4 years ago (it still ran, was just getting hard to start). It has had one front tire and one rear tire replaced this year. After getting upper end oiling problem figured out and repaired (also this year), I think tractor was well worth the $5500 I paid for it.
