Backhoe Connections for 3rd R function for 2816 with backhoe and grapple attachment

I am trying to attach a grapple when I have a backhoe for a Mahindra 2816. The 3rd R function valve is from HR Long.


I am having trouble figuring out the connections for the 3rd R function valve when I have a backhoe because the Power beyond goes to the backhoe.
So how do I get the power beyond to the grapple.

I know it comes out of the box under the tractor. I want to be able to use both at the same time. Do I need another connection so the power beyond
will have 2 connections, one for the backhoe and one for the grapple?

The valve for your BH controls should have the same power beyond in it. The hydraulic goes in/out of loader control to in/out of the BH control to in/out of the 3rd function.
The BH control valve should have a line that is going back to case- I believe that’s the one you want going into the 3rd function valve.

Bob, take the current PB line (you are going to need to get new hoses made) from the PB off the loader valve and run it to your 3rd function valve. Then run from the valve back to the hoe. Your all set other than the lines up to the front of the loader.

All you need to do is insert the 3rd function valve into the power beyond line that either goes back to the hoe or the return PB line coming back from the hoe. Either line will work for the 3rd function because in reality it is all the same loop.

This will allow you to use both attachments without having to be switching hoses around all the time.
