Does anyone know where I can get one of these? I bought this stump grinder and it is missing one handle.

Can you give us a clue? Is there a name on the valve?

I looks like the tangs to pin the handle on are broken off?

The flange that goes around the shaft is missing. The flange I believe has the tangs.

I agree the flange is missing (usually just a dust seal and the lower mount for the handle)...but you still need tangs on the spool itself for the handle to pin to.

Could'nt find any numbers on the valve assembly.It is an old Hodges grinder.It looks like the handle assembly might thread into the end of the shaft.I plan to take another one apart and see.

Kenny, If you look at the handle from my post, you will see that the tang is part of the flange, I magnified his picture fairly large, and looked at the other handles and it looks the same. I am thinking the shaft is turned and you can't see the holes. You could be right.

OK, I will take your word for it-but I sure don't see it The handle needs to pin in two different places...ONE on the flange you are talking about, and ONE on the spool itself(the part that slides in and out)

With no name or numbers it's gonna be tough to find replacement parts...
