You might just have enough clearance there. This is my latest SSQA snowplow mount modification and it fits my Yanmar LX.

Ok, it works. Yes I test fit it on the LS. Pics below.

The cylinders aren't on yet. He's going to use manual angle until he gets hoses made up to go from rear remotes. I cleaned up and painted the old cylinders but not sure of the conditions on the seals. The first picture above is full angle right.

It's a nice warm cab so if it were me, I would be getting the hoses right away. I'm also going to advise him on getting a cross over relief valve.

Probably should get skids for it too or all the gravel will be on the lawn.

Whew! Your QA must be shaped differently than mine! I don't think I could even get my paddles into that! Glad it worked out though!

He wanted to buy a new one ($1800ish) but I told him I would fab something up if he wanted. He's got $250 into the blade and about $150 into the SSQA plate.

I put another $100 into it plus all my labor but that will be a Christmas gift.

I'm really glad to get this done. If he doesn't paint the A-frame and the blade, I'll do it next summer.

.

Have him check with a tractor supply store near him. I bought my 14' hoses ready made off the shelf from TSC. Also bought the QA fittings and swivel connectors. Ran hoses from rear remotes underneath along other lines to the front and zip tied in place. 14' was the right length for my 3037. I think they'd be the same for a 4040, 3135, and maybe other models as well.
