BB & OVER: there seems to be an issue with my pictures cause I don't see or can't find any in your posts about all those good looks?

Alien: I think the % is another option for resizing that i can use instead of #'s and thanks for mentioning it.

ALL: so it looks like i can resize pics in PAINT, but changing the lighting i couldn't find. also this is a picture I took with my Iphone of my gramp's logging trucks in the 1950's that was on a poloroid in my mom's photo album. any help to get rid of the flash other than retaking the picture without a flash?

True, you can not change the lighting in Paint sadly. I carry the image to my Mac computer to do that. I love the shadows feature. It is amazing for lighting up a pic.

Aside from that, WOW! you just don't see logs like that anymore. I shudder to think of the load on those wheel bearings. LOL

Alien: when I was forced to change from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (or is it really Windows 95.1,000,000,000) it was a nightmare. i was on the phone with my new Dell laptop talking to their service guys in India for months fixing it. I really wish Microsoft would have kept Windows XP cause it's been about the only one that didn't crash. that said Windows 10 seems to be running fine now for the last couple years so maybe it's time for you to upgrade.

BB: :laughing::laughing:

NO NO NO!!!!

PS. My brother has just been going through Win 10 H*ll. In fact he went back to 7 on one of his Laptops. It just caused too many problems.
I will add... I'm 71. I don't need any more problems. LOL

I use the phone app and just add the picture as is. I don’t care about pixels or size

Bucky: I have just been adding thumbnails for pics and 2 clicks and viewers could see full size on another forum I belong to. so sort of like you are doing from your cell, but it's easier from my laptop. that said this is a picture thread and some pretty amazing pictures were posted and they look pretty nice full size as I scrolled through so I bit the bullet so to speak and learned how to post full size. whatever works for you is great, but it was a SNOW WEEK here and I had the time.

Alien: I hear you and i hope Microsoft doesn't quit supporting Windows 7 like they did for Windows XP and the older versions cause then you get viruses and can't run anything. if you might need computer help you can always PM (private message) me and i'll try to help. or if you have the cash buy a $1,000 new Dell laptop and pay the 3 year full service package and then have customer service fix your computer while you watch what they are doing (pretty amazing sometimes) an you can eat lunch or whatever.

I didn't have to even watch, but i was always curious what they were doing once i gave them access to my laptop.

Microsoft may stop support for 7 but it doesn't mean it won't keep on working. I use Malwarebytes to prevent viruses and malware. Much better than other well know programs.
Gee, people and offices are still using XL to this day. It was one that I always liked as well.
However in due course it may come to Win 10 but I see that they are going to require a yearly subscription in the future. One reason they are trying to get people to upgrade I guess.
If it comes to that then I will stick with my Mac. I never had a problem of any kind with that and it is late 2009. I did change the hard drive to a SSD.

.

I pulled up TBN on my laptop to see how they looked. So the computer the pic will show as a thumbnail until you click it to open full size.
One I uploaded by phone I downloaded on pc at 1506x1124px size 514KB

The original is 2877x2144. 1.26 MB, but this picture was copied to google drive, then my phone before I posted it.

Somewhere between moving to my phone then uploading with the app it got downsized , but not by me.

If I want to resize I use IrFanView F67FC318-D400-4296-80ED-DB24C4C10DE2-1755-0000023B6E596448.JPG

Just pick size or change pixels.
