Each year, we have a deer give birth to a fawn in one of our goat pens. We discovered this year's fawn a few days ago while out checking the fence line. Took this photo with my phone.View attachment 656256

I almost stepped on this little guy today. He blends in quite well with the leaves.

Thankfully my dog wasn't with me, I'm not sure what would have happened if he'd found the fawn before I did.

So many fawn pictures nicer than mine , It does seem like they are programmed to stay put/low until mom comes back. Phone camera has a lot of limitations (as do I).

Toadal Positioning System

Little guy rode around on the hood for most of an hour while I was mowing. Wandered around a bit looking like he was guiding me. At one point he was right up front and center like the Mack Bulldog.

I took mine with my phone... but it was only about 10 feet away. I also snipped a lot of the background out of it.
