coolant filter and additive

I am wondering why diesel engines in large trucks , heavy equipment , and most large farm tractors are equipped with coolant filters , but small tractors and pickups are not . I sell tractor trailer parts , we sell a lot of test strips , coolant filters and additive . My tractors owners manual has nothing in it about coolant filters . I know why they are on the big equipment , why not the small stuff ? I thought before I call MF or Baldwin filters , I would see if any of you had ever questioned this .

price I would guess.. also the block design.. IE.. parent bore, wet liner or dry liner, and thus the cavitation and electrolysis risk associated with each design.
