Corona Virus # 3

This will be the 3rd time quiting. Its astronomical how hard it is....

One of the hardest things I ever did. I still have dreams about having a chew, h3ll... it was my best friend. I won't give you any stupid advice, but... you've gotta want it. Good luck, brother.

My father quit every year, then started smoking again when he went to hunting camp. The last time he went to a hypnotist, and didn't smoke for the last 37 years of his life. Somehow I never picked up the habit.It had nothing to do with health, I started at 15 when I was at a weekend retreat with a bunch of other guys, the following week I remember going out in the woods to smoke; I looked down at the half finished cigarette between my fingers and said out loud "This looks S****y", and put it out. That unfinished pack of cigarettes is still out in the woods under a fallen log, if anybody really needs a smoke.

Nope.... squirrels got em.. Those little rats are known tobacco abusers...

That would have been summer of 1974, so if the squirrels didn't get them the rain probably did.

Thanks guys. You are all right. He was my father, but not a dad. Never played pitch with me, only took me to bars when I was maybe 4-5 years old, just to show me to his girlfriends....

Don't just tell your kids you love them. Take them out to do something, or teach them to do something, and then while you're at it, tell them you love them.

PS, I do yell at my kids too when they are messing up or about to mess up. I also consider that being a dad.

OK, back to corona virus, and old farts.

Heck, I even remember when they made house calls.

I dated a student nurse that made housecalls. Thank god she didn’t smoke though.
