I had stopped reading #3 because it suddenly turned ugly. I come here for entertainment, if I want to see people harping on each other I will watch the evening news.
Mike is less tolerant than Mossy, and wasn't long shutting it down.

You really don't need a statistical analysis to figure out who the usual suspects are, all that you need to do is find the locked threads and note that the last posts were by the same group of posters.

And you think this type of post helps? Please...

This is not entirely true...there are many instances where the actual offending posts are a page or two back from when a thread is locked...That was the gist of the thread I started about the lack of consistency...

I'm not shirking from my participation in contributing to thread closures but in the same respect it's hard to know when you're crossing a line when the line is undetermined or relegated to personal interpretation...

It's Physics really... Every action has an equal but opposite reaction. You do your part, and I do mine.

Some earlier posts suggest that since the disease is already here, it doesn't matter how we go about our business because in the end, it all comes out the same- Some will get it, some will get it bad, and some will die. The thing is, the RATE of infection is crucial. If all the serious cases hit the hospitals at the same time, more will die if it overloads the system. Business as usual accelerates the spread. Limiting exposure, OTOH, might keep it at a treatable rate.

Business as usual for the funeral industry. Not exactly the windfall they were hoping for (yet).


The funeral biz is recession proof. People die of old age. It’s a given.

Pandemic, war, natural disaster ...great. Even better.

Good questions for sure.

I'd say if it's like the common flu, then yes on getting it numerous times, nit sure back to back however.

I read there was more than one strain but then you and I know how the media is about reporting the truth...

On warm weather, I hope so but it's in Australia and it's summer in Australia and I think it's warm in Iran as well so I don't honestly know. All I know is it's a life altering experience

We all need some more concrete answers from the Whitehouse, from the President, not from the news media.

My wife and I are being hermits pretty much. Taking care of necessary medical appointments but not galavanting around.
