Business as usual for the funeral industry. Not exactly the windfall they were hoping for (yet).

The funeral biz is recession proof. People die of old age. It’s a given.

Pandemic, war, natural disaster ...great. Even better.

Have a pretty good friend who is a funeral director and like he says... We always get you in the end...:D

Well they just cancelled public school for most of NY state. What I find weird is that they want the teachers to report still when the governor is calling for "non-esstential" personnel to stay home for the whole state.

That'll get the hoarders hoarding horidly. The hoarders!

Pretty bare (grocery store wise) around here Mossy. Wife and I are going to try on Monday about 9am. I might be changing my eating habits if it stays this way...

I do know one thing at that no coffee and I'll be bouncing off the walls. Gotta have my cup of Joe in the AM.

Masks yes but doubtful N95 or N99.

P2 is similar but ineffective against virus, a mask will help stop an infected carrier spreading the virus just like a surgical mask is to save the patient from the medical staff, ie, spitting into open wounds, incisions etc.

Just got my Sam's Club sized coffee. We aren't hoarders or preppers but my wife is a couponer and gets great deals on stuff when buying large quantities.

Makes no sense to me either. I suspect this is going to be a very interesting spring and summer. I'm planning on farming like usual but we will see how that plays out too.

M y humble opinion is that at some point in the very near future, grocery stores are going to have to impose buy limits in everything to spread the groceries out to everyone.

I'll give everyone an update on Monday when the wife and I go shopping in the AM of course.

Go to Newsmax for updated/good info on this subject....besides TBN of course.

In a few weeks the panic will pass and things will settle back down. I have enough of everything except dog food to last a month without ever leaving the property, and am getting ready to plant greens and lettuce.
