Richard I think we get your point but if you make not getting infected your primary concern then you CAN NOT infect someone else.
Yes we all know we are at risk of spreading COVID-19 because we can be infected and not know it as is your point.
Yep, that's my concern. I wonder if those infected know when/where they got it? In my World I don't think I would. So I try to act like I am already.
It would be devastating to me to find out I had spread this to anyone.
So, the efficacy of a mask is not in protecting yourself, but in protecting others. So, wearing it yourself does very little. But, if everyone else wears one, YOU will be protected.
I would think it would be doubtful ... unless one had very, very limited contacts over a somewhat prolonged period of time.
One would hope that would be the case with everyone.
OTOH, you have folks like this out there:
We have a member here that has repeatedly said he hoped others would get infected. Said it looked silly for people to wear PPE that might protect others. Actually sent a PM to another member saying he hoped he caught the virus and died.
So, don't have to go to Twitter to see that attitude.![]()
