Corriher Implements??

Hey! As most of you know, I ordered my New Holland TC29D from Corriher Implements in Newton NC, and the customer service so far has been awesome! They were very good about dealing with me on price. Only one question.. with my tractor, I am also getting a "Corriher Implements" 5' rotary cutter. Does anyone know if their implements are sturdy?? Good products?? Anyone ever had any implements from there? Thanks for the input in advance!

It seems that a lot of the attachments they sell are made by Midwest Equipment. Their rear blades and grader boxes are identical to Midwest's. Go to Midwest's site to check model numbers of rotary cutters (Corriher doesn't to bother changing the Midwest #'s).

All the research that I have done points to Midwest as being a quality manufacturer. (That research includes about 10 sleepless nights on-line, tearing this forum apart and of course bugging the heck out of a buddy that seems to have at least one of everything they ever built!)

Some of the implements of Corriher implements are made from time to time by Midwest. They use other MFG's and switch around. You can not use the model numbers to prove an implement was MFG by Midwest.

Hey Brad

I have a 72" Boxblade ( BB30-72 ) from Corriher. I have it on good authority that it is a Midwest manufactured unit that Corriher brands under agreement with Midwest. I'm not so sure about the mowers. I will be ordering a landscape rake soon.

The box I bought is excellent in terms on construction and value. The operator on the other hand is a not really working out too well /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

They are tops so far on customer service and in my opinion, make the deal with their shipping program.

I'm sure if you ask, they'll tell you who makes the equipment you're looking at.

Seems like it would be easy enough to ask "and if I tell you I'll take it, who is the manufacturer of the one you are going to ship me?" If it is important to you, and they can't/won't say, then you go elsewhere.

I heard this past week that they are putting up a new building to build their own implements.

It has been said that Corriher's might make the First Choice landscape equipment. Charles,JR & Ted are buddies of Pieter V. They currently have been MFG 4-N-1 buckets under the name of Construction Attachments.
