Even the paint is nowhere near automobile quality. My mower deck has a fair amount of rust on the surfaces that never contact grass. Deere Z425.
Thanks Agent Blue! I am enjoying not only the tractor... but the fact that I don't have buyer's remorse from overspending on an item! Please consider moving to the Deere and Kubota threads and whenever someone mentions an issue they are exeriencing tell them they should have bought a different tractor.
Again look more closely at the questions being asked. I did not ask if I bought the right tractor as my research and experience confirms I did. I asked for help on a situation. I got very informative responses about the coatings and how they react to protect the metal. I also got informative responses about how to lengthen the life of the fittings...all great responses that addressed the point of the thread.
...and then I got yours...misinformed, misdirected and, dare I say..yep I'll say it, moronic. Please go be negative elsewhere. This is a group of owners putting in our time to help one another..not name-brand bash.

...I think if I really wanted to make it look new, I would clean all the grease and oil off with a good solvent and get some matching paint and paint them to match. Check everything for tightness first then paint them. I see where many folks then mark a straight line across all of their FEL bolts with a contrasting paint marker to easily see if they have backed off. This doesnt address any stretching but it for sure lets you easily see when a bolt is no longer in alignment and needs tightening.
