This is what Pete looked like leaving this morning.

BTW the customer is a TBN member but wasn't familiar with me or my constant hogging of TBN's bandwidth.

The enhancements worked out just fine. Customer's happy and I'm happy.

The world is a wonderful place.

Here's Pete getting his finished but unfinished washed off.

Of course we couldn't do Pete a little augmenting without doing something for the trailer's self image.

When the trailer got there the roll over bar (to keep it from ripping something when bottoming out) was bound up and didn't work. So we added bearings and now it won't take squat off of anyone or thing.

Customer wanted a receiver hitch for towing his jeep.

So we made this.

It was a fun project, this augmentations stuff. Cosmetic surgery isn't that tuff, really.

Nice Job Harv, How did you get the rhino material to release from the bed so cleanly?

Please excuse my ignorance, but why would they ever build a truck that would allow the wheels to bottom out on the deck? - that is, why did you have to do this?

That's sure one sweet setup. Nice job as always.

Seeing the roller bar got me to thinking. How do you think one would work on a dove tail trailer? I haven't damaged my trailer yet, but I doubt the small town south of you likes me much any more. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Something about some missing asphalt.

We scored it with box knives and then removed it with putty knives. It was surprisingly easy.

But then I was watching. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

He bought the truck at an RV show. When he showed them the problem at the selling dealer they offered to raise the bed for an additional cost.

He didn't want to raise the bed. So he called me.
