Some people who make millions in a short period of time can spend millions in a short period of time. Making those millions back can be difficult with no talent...
None of the actors on Seinfeld are funny on their own, only when combined together.

Wasn't Seinfeld on the air for 10 years or so? Not really a short time.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus recently won an Emmy Award for "The New Adventures of Old Christine." Apparenty someone thought she was funny.

My personal opinion is none of the actors from Seinfeld are funny individually... you may like the Old Christine show, but I don't, nor do I think Michael Richards is funny.

It's great that everyone can have different opinions, otherwise we would all be dressing like Bob Skurka and driving the same tractor as Gatorboy. ;)

That's right.

I would say he peed on the electric fence - it was painful to watch - talk about someone with a problem.

Gloria Alred(?) will save the victims though. Their pain and suffering will be well rewarded - and Mr. Richards won't be quite as rich in the morning.

I hate to go here because it sounds like Im defending him or something, but Hollywood people are just people. They have their beliefs and they are intitled to them. I couldnt care less what Richards or Gibsons views are. I either watch their shows/movies or I dont, but its not based on their views, Its based on their work. Its like a barber or car mechanic. Who cares what their views are as long as they do their job.
I did get a good laugh from a radio call in show the other night. They were discussing what Richards said and racism in general. The comical part was how hard and ackwardly people avoided the word ******. For half an hour I listened to this show, not once did anyone say it. They said "the N word" repeatedly. One person even spelled it, but would not say it. One black man called in and said "*****", which is apparently different. They had a group of adults, late at night trying to have an open discussion about someone using the "N word" in a racial text and they cant even say it.
I guess I just dont get it. Its only a word. Its one of thousands of words, a few of which are considered inappropriate and vulgar but they dont scare people like this one.

EDIT: OMG, its a banned word here to. *****, ****, *****, *****, ****.
Whats up with that? Why can I see these but not ******? What better way to illistrate my point. That is hillarious.

Black people call other black people all sorts of racist terms without thinking about it as being racist. If a white person does the same thing, they get upset, and rightfully so. If they want to stop racial epitaphs, then they themselves must stop perpetuating the use of those words. I see them as racist words, but when spoken by anyone other than a black person, they take on a whole another context. Have you ever noticed that there are never any stories in the news about racists being anything other than white people. I know that there has to be racists in every race of people that dislike other races of people. After the Second World War, there were racists that hated the Japanese. Racism is forever evolving and I doubt that we will ever see a world free of them, but we can all still hope that the day will come when there is no racism in the world.

I agree. The word would have little meaning if it was given little meaning. By making it so terrible, people have actually given it more importance. I guess I can say it all I want to here and no one will hear it ****** ****** ****** ******.
