2023 Kioti RX7320pccb
I have a Kioti RX7320 rear tires with ballast. I am purchasing a Jenkins teleboom They dont say what it weighs but requires and operating capacity of 1800lbs my machines front loader is rated around 3300lbs.
Will my tractor be fine without more counter weight?
Regards,

I seriously doubt the rear fluid will be enough if you try lifting even close to capacity.

Please do not purchase this attachment.

Even with your tractor having loaded tires you will not have adequate control.

You have to remember that you will not have the over center control of the object you
are lifting.

Every movement will cause the loader, boom and the object to begin swinging.

The weight of the tractor, loader and the boom attachment will not be adequate to
counter the and eliminate swaying of the raised loader boom and the attachment
and prevent the tractor from being pulled over and hitting the ground.

Keep in mind that I mainly will use this for trusses weighing less than 200lbs. at fully retracted maybe something weighing a bit more. I appreciate the input :) Thank you. I do realize that using any implement requires critical thinking as I have watched many fail type videos and even as a green horn I wonder what they were thinking. I am extremely respectful of this tractor and its limitations. :) as well as my own lack of experience.
I have a great deal of experience with equipment but the tractor makes me feel less than confident.

I was thinking of either a 3 point ballast container or plate rack. Any suggestions of brands. This machine has a cat 2 - 3 point
Thanks again, Joe

Rent a Lull forklift for a day or two, you will be surprised how quickly you can
lift them and move them using straps

If you have help on 2 sets of scaffolding tying them in will go very quickly
if you have the spacers cut and extra batteries for the screw drivers using
deck screws

First question. Is this for a one time use? In other words it looks like an expensive piece. If all you’re doing is putting up one building.

Next, are you putting up the rafters by yourself or do you have help? If you have help tie a tagline to the rafter in order to keep it from swinging back-and-forth as you lift it into place. I see no reason not to use the tractor to pick it up. Remember to carry it low to the ground. Get it as close as you physically can to where it’s going to be placed then pick it up into the air.

Whenever you have anything on the front end loader, you need to have ballast in the tires and you also need a counterweight. If you have a lot of call for load of work, maybe a three point box could be justified. However, a box blade or a shredder attached to the three point is adequate for most lifting jobs.

I have set 24 foot long rafters with a 1212 pitch using a tractor front and motor and two 2 x 6 is nailed together to form the boom. We made a T-shape to fit in the bucket so that the bottom of the two by sixes would stay centered in the bucket. We then used a couple of ratchet straps to hold the two by sixes from left or right. It was not a big deal.

Without knowing the situation that you’re in it is possible to invert the rafters set them on the walls and then flip them over without the use of any type of equipment, other than some strong men and a rope.

You'll be fine with it for trusses. Trusses usually means a good level site and you seem to be aware of the proper conditions.
I have a teleboom that I made and prefer it on my SS with a rigid frame and higher lifting height and capacity than my 95 horse Kubota.
Just be careful learning both your tractor and the booms limitations. 👍
edit;
My "rigid frame" comment speaks to the oscillating characters of a tractors front axle, sideways stability is a bigger concern (to me) than putting the tractor on it's nose.

I built a truss boom with a similar design and use it on my Kubota R410 wheel loader. Biggest trusses yet were 40 footers on an 18 ft. wall. The difference is that my machine is built from the ground up to lift heavy from the front. Tractors aren't designed to lift things from the front. If they were, the front axle wouldn't pivot, the back one would, like an off road forklift. That said, your tractor is big enough to overcome some of that design issue. You should definitely build/get a counter weight. Within reason, the heavier the better and if possible, with the weight spread out across the width of the machine.

That works as long as he's doing close spaced trusses on a wall (usually 2" OC). It won't work with a post frame type building with the trusses bolted/fastened to each set of posts. I've installed up to 36 footers using the method you describe. Much wider than that and you risk breakage when the truss is in the flat position.
