That’s why I installed stainless steel plates over the wear points of the delta quick hitch! . Currently it’s still on the Brandon, but barely off the ground so I don’t scratch the paint on the skids.

See ..... It's like I said. Now it's time to install on your porch. Put small carpet pads under the skids and the paint won't get scratched.
