Counterweights for sprayer on X738

Deere recommends four 42lb weights when using their 25 gal sprayer. I would start there since the X738 can hold four without buying an additional bracket.

I have an X740 with the John Deere 25 gallon click n go spray tank...................I have used it often with no weights up front and have never had a problem.

The x740 is diesel while the x738 is a gasser. I'm thinking the diesel engine helps as a counter weight.

I have a very hilly lot and would expect "bad things" to happen without the counterweights. In any case, it won't get tried out at all until next spring at this point. Winter was quite early this year...
