Well, I bought some Walls about 10 years ago when I couldn't wait to get Carhartts. I'd never had Carhartts at the time but had heard such good reports about them that I had buyer's remorse for the last 10 years waiting for the Walls to wear out. I finally pulled the trigger late last winter on new Carhartts, but finished the season with the Walls. Then I took the old Walls to the farm to wear when I'm there, and started wearing the Carhartts here at home.
Wish now I'd sent the new Carhartts to the farm. Never noticed till this winter that the Carhartts don't zip all the way to the waist, and I don't care for the buckles-not as easy as the old Walls. Also, the Carhartts don't seem to wear as well as the Walls. Then there is the draw string at the waist-th Carhartts don't have it.
Should have paid more attention, but I thought I was buying the best by getting Carhartts. Oh well......Maybe in ten years I'll be complaining about the ones I get to replace the Carhartts!
