Supposedly the enamel coffee pot should be "seasoned" and the more you make cowboy coffee the more seasoned the pot becomes.Can I just use a stainless steel pot with or without the lid?
When washing the pot only rinse with water and let dry with the pot upside down.
Don't know if stainless steel can be seasoned. Maybe enamel was used in the 19th century because that was the material available at the time?
