My Granddad Jack in 1986 with my two year old son. Blood on his straw hat was from de-horning cattle that morning. Worked that way until the day he died.

Granddad traded his mules for a Farmall M. Later traded the M for a couple of 1963 Farmall 560 tractors. My son on one of those tractors that we keep running and use to this day. I have all of his old tools, and I think of him every time I get one out.

The worst I ever had was proverty! and the best I ever had was nothing!
I came from Wisconsin in 1982 no work there as there was more people
unemployed than the population. pop was a little over 24K and over 10 years ago pop was over 96K town I am in here in Texas hasn't changed

Here in Texas I see the cowboys are giving up their horses and taken
to ATV'S and heard some use chopers. Are driverless tractors next??

You can't do anything about growing old but you can poke fun of it.
When I was 40 the doc said I had spurs, I though only cowboys had
them! Then when I hit 80 doc said you have shingles and I don't do
roofs!
